Costs and savings
Running costs will vary depending on number of factors including the size of your home, how well insulated it is and what room temperature you are amining to achieve. How much you can save will also depend on what system you use, as well as what you are replacing it with. Your savings will be affected by your heat distribution system – your installer will be able to advise you on this.
You will still have to pay fuel bills with a heat pump because it is powered by electricity, but you will save massively on the fuel you are replacing. If your old heating was inefficient, you are more likely to see much lower running costs with a new heat pump.
